Never had this issues before! Hopefully someone notices something, the only thing I can say, before whilst starting the game via the steam play button, sometimes it showed an update screen, this I have not seen since the latest update.

But how to use a mod if the keyboard shorcuts are not activated and their menus are gone? Something is wrong but I don't think it's at user side, more something to do with Steam.
